Dyeing

Dyehouse

The dyehouse is where TFS differentiates itself in the market. Having a fully adaptable dyehouse that is complimented by a fully serviced lab means that there is no colour TFS cannot match and no batch size too small or too large.

The dyehouse consists of various sizes of jet dyeing machines. Jet dyeing machines have a small footprint and high output. With the ability to be operated on a low liquor ratio, the dyeing operation consumes less water, less chemicals, generates less effluent and requires less energy to heat compared to conventional dyeing methods.

Finishing

Fabric finishes are crucial to the production of textiles. Used to increase a fabric’s performance or raise its aesthetic value, finishes can change a fabric’s utility, texture, and color.

Over the years, textile finishing has been modernized to the process by which textile materials convert into technical textiles. TFS are at the forefront of textile finishing with the aim to develop multifunctional textiles, which are highly efficient, durable, cost effective, and manufactured in an environmentally sustainable manner.

Cut, Make, Trim

The newest department at TFS the cut and sew room is where we bring your designs to life in 3 simple steps:

1 Sampling

The sample is where you can really start to see your vision being brought to life. At this stage, we create a prototype so that you can see what your final design will look like. This stage also allows us the opportunity to spot any flaws in the design which may need adjusting such as the pattern, fit or the fabric.

2 Grading

Once you are happy with your sample and the fit, we will then carefully measure, plot and adjust the base size of the sample pattern at each seam, to create your full range of required sizing, while still maintaining the shape, fit, balance and proportion of the original prototype.

3 Production

All production is meticulously monitored from sampling to production. Once you have approved the sample, or provided your own, and your patterns have been graded to meet all sizing requirements, our team will set to work on cutting, making and trimming your creation using only the finest materials and best machinery for your needs
